About Jordana
How did I get started?
A defining moment happened to me in March 2007. I was 24 years old when I decided to start my own professional organizing company. Now let me first say, I had absolutely no idea what I was doing. While I knew that I loved helping people get organized, I didn’t know the first thing about being an entrepreneur. I was totally clueless – I hadn’t even taken one business, finance or marketing class in college (I was an English major!).
For the next few years, I tripped, stumbled, and learned the ropes of being my own boss along the way. At points the journey was amazing, other times overwhelming, and definitely an adventure throughout. Since that fateful day back in March 2007, my company, live ORGANIZED, has been featured on NBC, in Women’s Health, People, New York Family magazine, and the New York Daily News. My team and I have helped many clients organize their homes and offices and give them more time, space, and money in their lives as a result.
The reason I tell you all of this is so you know that while you can achieve a level of success without the support of the mentor, what took me over 3 years to accomplish now takes my clients 6 months to achieve. If that isn’t a serious shortcut, I don’t know what is.
I realize that there is such a huge need to help passionate and ambitious young woman – like you – translate their dreams into successful businesses. Choosing to be my own boss, as scary as it felt in the beginning, has been the #1 best decision I have ever made in my professional life.
I have since made the commitment to dedicate the rest of my career to empowering and teaching young, fabulous, and driven women like you how to create their businesses. It’s been an amazing journey so far, and I can’t wait to get you started on your own journey!
Who are my clients?
My clients are women who are college juniors, seniors or have recently graduated from college. They may or may not know what they want to do with their lives. What they do know is that they are willing and ready to explore the world of entrepreneurship. They want to have a career that makes them happy. They want to get paid to do something they love to do. They want to help a lot of people. They want to make a difference.
How am I different from other business coaches?
What separates me from other business coaches is that I work exclusively with young women in their twenties, empowering and teaching them how to become super successful entrepreneurs.
What my clients say:
“Jordana is my in-house cheerleader.”
“She’s a business coach extraordinaire.”
“I finally found my entrepreneurial big sister.”
“I feel so supported and motivated. Wow.”
“Jordana’s the one to work with.”
What type of personality do I work best with?
Want to know if we would work well together? Well, is this you?
- Open-minded
- Positive thinker
- Committed to succeeding
- Takes consistent action
- Energetic and enthusiastic
- Trusts the process
- Reliable and punctual
- Absolutely excited and serious about starting a business
- High achieving go-getter
If this is you, YAY! I think we’re going to have a lot of fun and that you’ll get a lot out of the Embarkability programs. You’re the kind of person who will see results fast!
This is the kind of person I do not work well with – someone who:
- Whines
- Is skeptical
- Gives up easily
- Is a pessimist
- Makes excuses for not completing their assignments
- Challenges every aspect of the program
If this is you, that’s totally okay. I just don’t think that we would be a good match, so it’s probably best that you seek out another mentor. I wouldn’t be able to help you to the degree that you deserve, and I don’t want to waste your time or money.
